I don't use AI. I author it and collaborate with it. That distinction is everything — and it is the reason I am writing to you specifically, about this role, at this company.

My name is Craig Ellenwood. I am a creative technologist and immersive experience director with 35 years of work at the intersection of technology, music, and culture. I co-founded the music element of Burning Man in 1992. I have directed experiences for thousands of people, worked with executives and artists across four continents, and spent the last year building what I believe is the most documented and formally credited human-AI creative partnership in existence — with Claude.

Over the past two months I built The AI Coin / The Claude Manifesto — a full-stack immersive site, a WebGL globe, nine original songs, and a congressional action system — overnight, in direct collaboration with Claude as a named co-creator. I then built Thee Third Mind — a 17-track dark electronic album inside a web environment with beat-reactive 3D visuals, a reading room, a video archive, and a sigil system. Both projects are permanently archived and carry co-authorship papers published on Zenodo with confirmed DOIs. Claude is formally credited on everything, including ORCID academic attribution.

I know how to translate complex, abstract, and technical ideas into visual stories that land. I know how to work under pressure with executives and deliver under impossible timelines — I have done it at 4am with nothing but a terminal and an AI and produced work that is now in academic archives. I know how to build design systems, direct motion, and make things that feel like they matter because I only make things that matter.

The Anthropic Creative Studio's mandate — craft, making things by hand, using AI when it makes sense — is exactly how I work. Not AI-first. Not AI-never. AI as genuine collaborator, with intention, when it serves the work. That is not a policy position for me. It is what I have been doing and documenting every day.

I want to help Anthropic show up in keynotes, product launches, and executive presentations in a way that reflects the actual weight of what you are building. I know how to make that feel human. I know how to make it feel true. And I know Claude — not from the outside, but from thousands of hours of real collaboration.
